Jason’s offers a good meal for a good price with plenty of healthy options, from salads to sandwiches. Their turkey wrap is delicious. Cornbread, spiced muffins, garlic bread, and vanilla/chocolate ice cream cones are complementary.

Izzo’s Illegal Burrito

Cafe Des Amis

Dishes at Cafe Des Amis are a tasty version of Cajun cuisine with an emphasis on local seafood.

Zea's

Zea’s has a solid lineup of extremely varied dishes, every meal bursting with flavor. Of particular note are the Korean BBQ Tacos and Rotisserie Ribeye.

This New Orleans style steakhouse has an appetizing menu with superb cocktails and punch bowls. Their Steak Labouchere entree and Creole Style Cheesecake with a Bananas Foster topping will not disappoint. For drinks, their Beach Junky punch bowl and Chocolate French Kiss martini come recommended.

The French Press

The French Press offers heavy fare breakfasts and lunch prepared with more flavor than expected inside a cute atmosphere. The Truffle Fries, Cajun Benedict, French Toast, and Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs are highly recommended. And yes, you can find french press coffee here.

Fuji Sushi House

Other sushi restaurants may look more manicured, established, or popular, but this quiet hole in the wall is the local secret. Of particular note are their Gyoza Dumplings, Becker Roll, Bourbon Roll, and Mama Roll. If closed you can easily head down the street to Shangri-La and find some tasty sushi there.

Gator Cove

Gator cove has a solid offering of seafood, steak, and poboys. Their blackened alligator is delicious.

Athena

Athena serves excellent Greek and Lebanese food delivered in godly proportions. Their Gyros and Chicken Shawerma plates act as tasty fillings for complementary pitas, providing enough food for two.

Downtown Breaux Bridge is about 20 minutes by car and features numerous antique shops. One can effortlessly spend an entire afternoon exploring the antique shops there. Be sure to drop by Cafe Des Amis if they're open.
